Venmo, the popular P2P payments app from Paypal, is expanding its realm with the launch of its own Mastercard debit card.

The payment platform has been testing a Visa card for a while. However, things are assumed to have taken a turn as the bank currently introduced its contactless debit cards with Mastercard and the issuer Bancorp Bank.

The Venmo card will allow customers to use their Venmo balance in store as well as ATMs.

Venmo is following the drift set by the mobile payments firm Square, who recently begun offering debit card users.
