The source code of a dangerous banking malware Exobot has made its way onto several online hacking forums, causing panic among Android users.
Dubbed the ‘Trump Edition’, the Version 2.5 of the code was leaked online in May, causing a surge in malicious Android apps.
The source code was abandoned by its creator who put it up for sale in January.
The trojan is popular among hackers as it uses overlay attacks to steal a user’s credentials whenever the infected device is used to log-in a banking platform.
