NatWest has launched an account aggregation feature that enables its users to view balances and transactions from 15 other banks on the bank’s mobile banking app.
The move follows Barclays, Lloyds, and HSBC in tapping the Open Banking rules to provide customers the feature.
Frans Woelders, chief digital officer, NatWest Personal Banking, says: “This is an important step in our mission to transform our digital services, focusing on digital innovation and using the latest Open Banking technology, to help make people’s banking lives easier. This feature is the first in a number of innovations we are working on to help customers manage their money more effectively and improve their financial wellbeing.”
Later updates of the feature are expected to help the customers further manage their money better and increase their financial stability.
