UK chain Costa Coffee is teaming up with Barclaycard to launch a reusable coffee cup with integrated contactless payments technology for users to pay for their coffee instantly.
Dubbed Clever Cup, the cup will be available in all Costa Coffee for £14.99. The cup is powered by Barclaycard’s bPay technology, enabling customers to track spendings, add balance or control payment using the firm’s app.
