The innovation hub of Banco Sabadell, InnoCells has acquired online payments platform PayTPV, to strengthen its position in the Spanish online payment space.
With the deal-the terms of which are not yet disclosed- Sabadell plans to integrate PayTPV’s technology into its platform, to offer merchants a simplified process of making payments across multiple banks and currencies, by a single control panel that combines all the online, telephone, booking system and physical collection channels.
Julio Martínez, executive director, InnoCells, says: “The integration of the advanced solution offered by PayTPV and the proven talent of the team there will strengthen Banco Sabadell’s leadership in digital payments, which is a business line that has a huge growth potential.”
